Our pricing advantage comes from three core factors: proprietary technology, strong in-house capabilities, and history and scale.

Proprietary technology. We've spent years refining our HPHT growth process. Our advanced catalyst formula and custom-engineered presses operate at higher temperature and pressure ranges with approximately 50% more internal growth volume, allowing diamonds to grow approximately 30% faster with better clarity and less waste. Lower energy use and higher yield per cycle mean lower cost per diamond.
This didn't happen overnight. Our technique advisors, one of whom is also a university professor, have been studying high-pressure science and HPHT technology for more than 25 years. We also maintain several technology and R&D collaboration projects with high-pressure science research institutes and equipment producers, keeping us at the forefront of what's possible.

Strong in-house capabilities. We maintain technology and expertise for every stage: carbon purification, catalyst formulation, synthesis block fabrication, HPHT machine engineering, diamond growth, and expert cutting and polishing. Having this full-spectrum capability means fewer dependencies, more quality control, and significantly lower production costs.
Beyond our production and order fulfilment team, we also run a separate research and development lab dedicated to pushing our technology further. Current projects include exploring new available colours, growing even larger diamonds, developing a new Ultra-High Temperature and Pressure growth environment that can produce diamonds faster at lower cost and lower energy consumption, refining new catalyst formulas to improve colour hue and quality of certain diamond options, and upgrading our chemical purification process with more automation and less chemical waste. For us, R&D isn't a side project. It's how we keep getting better and more affordable while also reducing our environmental footprint.

History and scale. With over a decade in the memorial diamond industry and a continuously expanded machine fleet serving global customers from over 50 countries worldwide, our fixed operational and R&D costs are distributed across a high volume of orders. This economy of scale allows us to offer lower prices without compromising quality.

There are three main factors: carat weight, colour, and cut.

Carat Weight. Larger diamonds require more carbon and longer growth time. We offer sizes from 0.10 up to 6.29 carats, a wider range than most in the industry.

Colour. Some colours, like pink, require more advanced technology and take longer to create, which affects the price. Colourless diamonds are the most affordable, while Pink is the most premium.

Cut. Round brilliant is the most affordable and popular option. Other shapes (emerald, cushion, heart, oval, radiant, pear, princess, asscher, marquise, trillion, hexagon) come with a surcharge due to the additional craftsmanship involved.

The colour of a cremation diamond is determined by the trace elements present during the growth process. Different colours require different growth conditions, catalyst formulations, and timeframes. For example, Pink diamonds need a specialized, advanced process that takes much longer, making them our most premium option. Blue diamonds require careful control of boron levels. Colourless diamonds have the shortest growth cycle and are the most affordable.

Larger diamonds require more purified carbon from ashes or hair and significantly longer growth time in our specialized HPHT machines. Cutting and polishing a larger stone also demands more expertise, precision, and time.

Round brilliant is the most requested memorial diamond cut and the shape our cutting team has the deepest expertise in. That refined workflow efficiency is why it's included in every base price.

Notably, round brilliant actually has the highest material loss of any standard cut. Typically, only 20-30% of the rough stone is retained, since the round shape doesn't follow the natural octahedral geometry of an HPHT crystal.

Speciality cuts, such as emerald, cushion, heart, oval, radiant, pear, princess, asscher, and marquise, carry an additional fee because they require:

• Individualized rough assessment of each stone's unique characteristics
• More complex geometry with distinct proportions, facet arrangements, and symmetry demands
• Greater manual precision, especially for shapes with sharp points or step-cut facets where minor errors are highly visible
• Lower production volume, resulting in less per-cut workflow efficiency

The fee reflects craftsmanship and volume, not a quality difference. Every EverDear diamond is held to the same standard regardless of cut.

No. The price of a memorial diamond is based on the carat size, colour, and cut you choose, not the type of ashes. Whether the remains come from aquamation or traditional cremation, the pricing is the same.

The process does require approximately 200 grams of aquamation ashes, compared to 100 grams for traditional cremation ashes, but this does not affect the cost. Aquamation typically returns a larger volume of remains overall, so most families will have plenty of material to work with.

Every EverDear diamond already comes with our in-house certification. IGI is a good option if you want independent documentation for personal records, insurance, or extra peace of mind.

We've made the payment process simple and manageable. We split the total cost into two equal payments:

First Payment (50%): Due after we receive your ashes or hair and before we begin production.

Second Payment (50%): Due when your diamond is complete and ready to be shipped to you.
